SWEBS – Schoolwide Effective Behavior Supports
East York is implementing SWEBS. It is a process for creating safe and effective learning environments using researched-based effective strategies. SWEBS is a proactive approach to teach, monitor, and support appropriate school behavior for ALL students.
At East York we have adopted the motto: SPIKE.

Engaged learners
The students are learning these phrases and what they mean in different settings of the school. They will learn a SPIKE song and have training days. Rewards will accompany great SPIKE behavior including the Red Hots, Dragon Dens and Super scales.
