Book Club Members read and talk about books!
Emphasis is on developing lifelong readers.
Books selected may be new, popular titles as well as classics and old favorites.
Stress is on the books and student interest/recommendations, not on books read in the school curriculum.
The club is open to all students.
Students must be willing to attend monthly meetings for an hour after school.
We have started the year reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett. 
Our next book is John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men. 
We are closing out the year 2011 by reading George Orwell's 1984. 
Our book for February is Now is the Time for Running by Michael Williams.
We are reading Laura Resau's The Queen of Water for our March/April book selection. 
The last book we are reading this school year is Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game.
