Peggy Flannelly and Jackie James make up our school counselor team at Valley View Elementary. Mrs. Flannelly is the counselor for the Kindergarten and First grade students and is at Valley View on Cycle Days 1, 3, and 5 (all the Odd Cycle Days). Mrs. James is the school counselor for our Second grade students and is at Valley View on Cycle Day 4 (in the pm) and all day on Cycle Day 6. The counselor at your child's grade level will handle the classroom guidance, small groups, and handle the ongoing individual  needs of the students at the grade level.  On the  days Mrs. Flannelly and Mrs. James are at Valley View, however,  they will be available to help with the social/emotional  needs that might come up with students regardless of their grade level.

Our school counselor team is very parent friendly and believes that the best things happen when parents and school personnel  work well together.  If you have a concern or question that we can help with  please do not hesitate to call.
