Peggy Flannelly and Lisa Hess make up our school counselor team at Yorkshire Elementary. Mrs. Flannelly is the counselor for the kindergarten and first grade students and is at Yorkshire on cycle days 2, 4, and 6 (all the even cycle days). Mrs. Hess is the school counselor for our second grade students and is at Yorkshire on cycle days 1 and 3. The counselor at your child's grade level will handle the classroom guidance, small group, and ongoing individual needs of the students at the grade level.  On the cycle days Mrs. Flannelly and Mrs. Hess are at Yorkshire, however,  they will be available to handle any daily needs that come up for all the students of Yorkshire regardless of grade level.

We are very parent friendly and at this early childhood  age level effective changes really depend on parents and school personnel  working well together.  Parents  know your child the best and have the most impact on your child. If you have a concern we suggest you talk with your child's teacher first, but if you ever do not know who to talk with or what the best approach to a situation would be please do not hesitate to call. The phone number for Yorkshire Elementary is 885-1230 or we can be reached at the following emails :

Peggy Flannelly(grade k-1 counselor) - pflannelly@yssd.org

Lisa Hess- (grade 2 counselor) -  lhess@yssd.org

We look forward to working together with you and your child this school year!
