Use/Rental of District Facilities
All requests by community groups to use district facilities, either indoor or outdoor:
1. must be made through Shelby Marks (717-885-1270 x8002),
2. are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and
3. school and district-related groups will be given priority over external groups.
To check on the availability of a Indoor Facilities or Athletic Fields, please complete the appropriate form and return it to Shelby Marks by email, fax, mail, or delivery to the High School as noted on the form.

The Board Policy on Facility Use states the Rental Fee Rates. The fees are determined by Categories.
In addition to the Facility Rental fees, renters may also pay Custodial, Lighting, Stage Technician, and other fees associated with the rental.
Athletic Field requests will be presented to the Athletic Council for approval. Field Requests must be turned in three weeks prior to the date requested.
If your request is approved, you will be sent a Rental Contract to be signed by two officials of your organization and returned to Shelby Marks. The contract will be signed by the Board Secretary and a fully-executed contract will be returned to you.
The school district will require the lessee to furnish a Certificate of Insurance ($1,000,000 minimum liability coverage) that lists York Suburban School District as "Additional Insured". This certificate must be submitted before the Rental Contract will be signed by the school district.
No organized groups are permitted to use the school district's Athletic Fields or Indoor Facilities without prior approval.
