YORK SUBURBAN FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT

 

The York Suburban School District offers nutritious meals to all students.  Lunch is offered at all schools, and breakfast is offered at York Suburban Middle School and East York Elementary School.  All meals served meet nutritition standards established by the United States Department of Agriculture.  The cost of lunch is $2.00 for elementary students, and $2.25 for secondary students ($2.65 for Super Meals at High School only).  Breakfast is $1.20.

 

Free and reduced lunches are available to students who live in households with incomes that meet federal guidelines. Free and reduced price meal applications are available in every school, and are given to every student or sent home at the beginning of the school year.  Applications may be completed on-line (after August 1st) on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Access to Social Services (COMPASS) website:  www.compass.state.pa.us
