Educator's Vision

The York Suburban Middle School Emotional Support Program models a social and academic learning community that meets the holistic needs of all emotional support participants by:

1. Emphasizing relationship building and connections within the classroom, the school, and the community.

2. Fostering decision making that is collaborative, team driven and results focused.

3. Providing instruction that represents best practice given what is currently known about emotionally and socially "at-risk" adolescents and the teaching/learning process.
