Community Flyers/Bulletin Board

The organization or agency for which the flyer is being distributed must be non-profit or not-for-profit.

Agencies/organizations not affiliated with the district must have the following statement on the flyer.

The school district neither encourages nor discourages a student’s participation in the activity described herein.

Non-district programs, clubs, and camps that use York Suburban and/or Trojan in their name must include the following statement on the flyer.

This program is not operated by the York Suburban School District.

The Director of Communications and Community Relations must approve each flyer. Submit a PDF version to pr@yssd.org for consideration.

The agency/organization will be notified of approval or disapproval. Following approval, the flyer will be posted for the duration of the activity and/or the registration period.

Kindly allow 2-3 days for submissions to be reviewed, approved, and posted.

Paper Copies

Organizations or agencies may provide paper copies of approved flyers for distribution to elementary students to support families who may not have access to printing. Paper copies are not distributed at the secondary level (grades 6–12).

If providing paper copies, the organization or agency is responsible for printing the materials, sorting them by classroom, and delivering them to each school. Please indicate your intent to distribute paper copies in your email submission; classroom counts will be shared once the flyer has been approved.

Social Media and Email

The District does not use social media or email to share individual community flyers. A link to the Community Bulletin Board is included in our monthly e-newsletter.
