Tax Impact Calculator

At the Board of Directors' meeting on May 26, the Board approved a General Fund Budget for the 2026-2027 school year. The Budget includes allocations for planned expenditures of $81,525,896

Balancing the budget is a complex and challenging task. However, with the Board’s guidance, the administration was able to prioritize needs, allocate existing resources effectively, and continue implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Ultimately, to balance the 2025-2026 General Fund Budget, the Board raised the millage rate from 26.5848 in 2024-2025 to 27.4488, resulting in a 3.25% tax increase for 2025-2026.

The Tax Impact Calculator has been updated to help residents better understand how our planned construction and renovation projects will affect their real estate tax bills. A chart illustrating the impact of project costs on taxes from 2022-2023 through 2028-2029 is also available to taxpayers as a resource. It is important to note that, for 2026-2027 and subsequent years, the estimated increases shown in the calculator are based solely on the cost of district projects. Additional funding for operational costs is still to be determined.
