We are thrilled to announce that York Suburban Middle School has been named a 2026 School of Distinction by the Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE)...one of ONLY THREE middle schools in Pennsylvania to receive this prestigious recognition!
AMLE honors schools that are actively implementing best practices in middle level education. YSMS was selected following a rigorous process that included a school-wide assessment, continuous improvement planning, and input from staff, students and families.
Congratulations to Dr. Snedden, Principal, Mr. Laudeman, Assistant Principal and the entire YSMS faculty and staff! This honor reflects your dedication to creating the most positive middle school experience possible for our students and we couldn’t be prouder.
