April Board Meeting updates

At the April 29, 2024’s Regular Board Meeting, Dr. Krauser provided a historical review of the facility and programming work since 2016 and the processes the Board Members have engaged in to reach their decision points. In addition, he reviewed some recent frequently asked questions and reviewed resources available on the District’s Construction and Renovation website.
                                      
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
Mr. Seth Wentz of Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates also presented the monthly update to the Board of Directors regarding the projects’ design development work. The last few months have been mainly focused on the design of the Intermediate School. In the past month, the Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates design team has met with 50–60 York Suburban educators to review interior design possibilities for the various learning environments and common spaces. Working with these specific groups has allowed the design team to refine the options based on this feedback. Regarding work specific to the High School, the team has conducted a series of natatorium petrographic tests. The team is still awaiting the results to inform the next stages of design work.
