Celebrating York County 275th Anniversary

York County, a place steeped in history, is celebrating its 275th anniversary, and we intend to help celebrate this significant milestone!

On Monday, August 19, our District will participate in the “Ring in the Celebration with Bells Across the County” event sponsored by the county.

At noon, each of our schools will ring a bell over the announcements, and if you have a bell in your home or office, feel free to ring it, too! Before phones and text messaging, bells played a crucial role in communication 275 years ago, conveying important messages, calling people to gatherings, and marking significant events. Let’s fill the county with the sound of bells and make this a moment to remember!
