Congratulations to Sophia Scalet on her acceptance to SIX Ivy League Universities!

Sophia Scalet, co-valedictorian of York Suburban High School’s Class of 2025, has an exciting decision ahead after earning acceptance to SIX Ivy League universities!

Sophia was accepted to Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Princeton University. She was also waitlisted by Dartmouth College and Yale University, in addition to securing acceptances from Georgetown University and Swarthmore College. With Ivy League acceptance rates ranging from just 3.4% to 7%, her achievement is truly extraordinary, and she now joins a distinguished group of York Suburban alumni who have earned a place in these prestigious institutions.

Excited to study Comparative Literature, Sophia has narrowed her decision down to Brown, Harvard, or Princeton. Throughout April, she will attend each school’s admitted student events to help determine which university will be the best fit.
