The Communications Department is responsible for sharing district news and events and is often the first point of contact for families, residents, and staff.
Through tools such as district and school websites, social media accounts, newsletters, and more, the department helps keep the community informed about exciting and important things happening across the district.

Mobile App
In April 2026, we launched a new mobile app, which puts everything from our website in your pocket. Search for York Suburban SD in the Apple App Store or Google Play to download.
The app integrates with our website and serves as a one-stop shop for a calendar of events (with the option to add directly to your personal calendar), news, important documents, links to commonly accessed sites, and more.
Media Relations
All media requests should be directed to the Communications Department. Along with the Superintendent, the Director of Communications & Community Relations serves as the school district's official media spokesperson.
