May 13, 2022 York Suburban High School students in the Home Maintenance and Construction course have been working in pairs to install drywall panels, apply drywall compound, and finish the project with a color of their choice. Additionally, they’ve been learning other skills that will be useful if they own or rent a house, such as basic electrical repair, proper tool usage, and home energy conservation. May 13, 2022 At the beginning of the school year, York Suburban Middle School students in Mrs. Page and Mr. Laudeman’s eighth-grade Literacy Academy class decided they wanted to participate in a year-long service project. They chose to support an organization called Caitlin’s Smiles, which was founded by Cheryl Hornung after losing her daughter to a lengthy battle with cancer.
