Today, Dr. Noe Ortega, Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Education, visited Mrs. Milesky's first-grade classroom in Yorkshire Elementary School. He met with students and read the book “A Germ’s Journey,” which was written in 2011 by Thom Rooke. His presence brought an awesome energy to the building! Students and staff were very appreciative of the time he spent speaking and sharing a story.
