Family First Health to Provide In-School Dental Services for YSSD Students

November 1, 2021

York Suburban School District is collaborating with Family First Health to provide preventative dental services for students enrolled in the District regardless of insurance status. Dentists, dental assistants, and staff from Family First Health will visit our schools to provide onsite dental care to any student in need. Preventative care may include but is not limited to dental exams, cleanings, X-rays, fluoride treatments, sealants, and oral hygiene health. Each dental appointment will be approximately 15 minutes in length.

Family First Health will be scheduling dental appointments according to the locations and times listed in this letter. If you would like your child to receive dental services through Family First Health, please complete the permission slip and return it to the school nurse. All permission slips are due by the dates listed in the aforementioned letter.

You will receive notification of your child’s appointment time once it has been scheduled. Parents/guardians may be present for dental visits, but it is not required. If you have any questions, please get in touch with your child’s school nurse.
