Supreme Court of PA Issues New Order, Reinstates Mask Mandate
November 30, 2021
Today, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania issued an order that effectively reinstates the state-wide mask mandate. The masking mandate will likely remain in place until the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania rules on the matter. Oral arguments are set to begin on December 8, 2021.
As a result, we can no longer follow through with the schedule for optional masking that was shared on November 17, 2021. Therefore, all students, staff, and visitors must continue to wear masks in our buildings and while using District-provided transportation until the circumstances change.
This is an evolving situation, and we will keep you informed when there are new developments. Thank you for your ongoing patience and flexibility.
