The Battle of the Buildings event, which was originally scheduled for January 22, 2022, has been postponed. York Suburban Dollars for Scholars, the organization that coordinates this event, provided the following statement.

"Please be advised that the YS Dollars for Scholars Board has decided to postpone Battle of the Buildings until 2023. We simply cannot, in good faith, host a community-wide event in the middle of the surge we are experiencing here in York County. Our primary concern is for the safety of our community - in particular our teachers who are central to the success of this event. Thank you and see you next year!"
