Lt. David Godfrey, Dep. Valdyn Sharrar, and Capt. Dargo — all York County Sheriff's Office members — visited with Yorkshire Elementary School's first-grade students today. The kids learned how Capt. Dargo, a German shepherd, keeps our community safe with his amazing tracking skills. After witnessing a demonstration and hearing about the intricacies of life in a K-9 unit, the students were able to ask questions and pet Capt. Dargo. It was a great assembly filled with #YSBOLD experiences!
