Below is a message from Dr. Steve Gerhard with the Chester County Intermediate Unit. The letter includes details about how community members can participate in the superintendent search by completing a survey. Thank you for considering this opportunity!

Dear YSSD Community,
 
As you are aware, the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) is assisting the York Suburban School District’s Board of Directors with selecting a superintendent of schools. To seek input from the community, focus groups were recently held, during which community members shared their experiences and insights into the type of leader that the district is seeking.

If you were unable to attend either of the focus groups or if you’d like to provide additional feedback, we ask that you please take 15 minutes to complete the survey that is included in this message. This survey will help us gather additional information about the superintendent the district desires. Responses are anonymous and will be presented in the aggregate.
