Loretta Claiborne was named one of USA Today’s Women of the Year for continuing to inspire others through perseverance and selflessness. Loretta grew up here in York, PA, being born mentally and physically disabled and raised by a single mother of seven children. She became a nationally renowned athlete and an international spokesperson for Special Olympics.
