America's Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading incentive program. YS students in the Gifted Program in grades 4 and 5 were invited to compete. Eight school districts were present this year, with a total of 23 teams. YSSD had 4 teams attend. Out of the 23 teams, our YSSD Team #1 came in 1st place! It was an exciting day and an awesome experience.
