Capture the excitement of the first day of school:

• Printable "First Day of School Signs" for YSSD students. Use #YSBold when posting on social media!
• Using this Google form, share your first day of school photos with us! (By sharing photos, you authorize the use of the photos on social media, the district website, and any district publications.)   

Below are important dates and reminders:

• Transition Day is Tuesday, August 22, 2023. Students entering Kindergarten, 3rd, 6th, and 9th grades, as well as any high school students new to the district, should attend school on this day.
• The first day of school for ALL students is Wednesday, August 23, 2023. 

Here is your to-do list to be sure you are all set for the first day of school:

• Check your email for the District Back to School Letter.
• Check Infinite Campus for transportation information (bus assignments and bus stops). During the first few weeks of the school year, it is a good idea to arrive at your bus stop ten minutes early. It takes time to establish a consistent routine, as drivers become familiar with their route and the students.
• While in Infinite Campus, make sure your contact information is up to date.
• Provide all required health documents as outlined in this letter.
