It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the principal of Indian Rock Elementary School. I began working for York Suburban in 2003, and I am also a parent in the district. I have worked at the high school as an English teacher and at the middle school as the assistant principal. I value the community that York Suburban encourages and the educational excellence that community fosters.  

Indian Rock Elementary exemplifies this sense of community and excellence. The students, staff, and families that comprise this community work collaboratively to ensure that all of our students can learn and grow, and I’m honored to be part of these efforts. The staff believes that every student in every class deserves the very best education. They work to build caring relationships with students to help them grow their hearts and brains. Our focus on students promotes student responsibility and ownership in maintaining this safe learning community.

A partnership with our community is critical to our continued growth and success. Please consider joining and supporting our PTO. They provide wonderful experiences and opportunities for our students. Additionally, our students receive support and encouragement from the following community organizations: YSEF, CTC, and Girls on the Run.
