The district will be holding a communications focus group at 10 a.m. on June 8, 2022. Below is a description of what will be discussed.

The district's coordinator of communications will be conducting a communications focus group at 10 a.m. on June 8, 2022. The purpose of this focus group is to gather feedback about a very specific communications item that is being considered for the 2022-23 school year.

During the session, information will be shared about the thought process and reasoning behind the potential change. Then, participants will be sent an email containing a sample piece of communication, and they will be asked to review the communication on their personal smartphones. Afterward, participants will share their reactions with the group. The session will conclude with each participant completing a survey on their personal smartphone to summarize their thoughts.

Parents and guardians of current YSSD students who are interested in participating should complete this form no later than 11 p.m. on May 31, 2022. The number of participants will be capped at 20. If more than 20 complete the form, the participants will be selected randomly. Thank you for considering this opportunity!
